A thousand years after his destruction, Coldstone and his family members were reconstructed by series antagonists Demona and Xanatos into a single hybrid that was part gargoyle, part machine. A member of the Wyvern Clan, his body was destroyed by Viking raiders along with the bodies of his mate and brother. Voiced by Michael Dorn of Star Trek fame, Coldstone was also referred to as Othello on Gargoyles. The first issue of TOYCOLLECTR, which is available for pre-order now via a one-year $69 subscription, promises a deep dive into the history of Gargoyles toys, including both Kenner and NECA's respective lines. NECA is the latest company to obtain the Gargoyles toy line, though Kenner produced several figures based on the show when it was still on the air.
NECA is the company behind other impressive Gargoyles figures, including the most recent releases of Brooklyn, Goliath and Demona.
